Classic Brazil


We start this classic Brazil tour in, of course, the colourful and dynamic Rio De Janerio where you will see all the famous sites of this incredible city, with some time to explore by yourself as well. You will have tours of both Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado (where Christ the Redeemer watches over the city), before enjoying a show at the famous music venue Plataforma, showcasing samba, jazz and bossa nova! World renowned for it's party lifestyle this is the perfect way to kick off your time in Rio!

A short flight West to Iguazu brings you to the attraction on the top of everyone's bucket list - the incredible Iguazu waterfalls. With 275 individual drops and stretching over 2km this grand spectacle cannot be missed and will truly take your breath away. You spend two days exploring both the Brazilian and Argentina sides of the falls seeing them from all the best possible angles!

Next is a trip to the rainforest! Staying in a luxuray lodge in the amazon you can explore a small slice of this amazing environment that is like nowhere else on earth! A nature lovers dream, the lodge takes you on numerous tours and expeditions to spot as much wildlife as you can and get a feel for this magical landscape.

From the rainforest to the city! Next stop is the beautiful Salvador - adorned with some spectacular architecture and steeped in fascinating history, you will be guided around this glorious city. It is your last day in Brazil so make the most of your free time exploring the local culinary delights and friendly locals!

Day 1: Arrival - Rio De Janeiro
Arrival in Rio De Janeiro and transfer to your hotel in this vibrant city! You have the evening to relax and soak in your surroundings.

Day 2: Rio De Janerio
After breakfast, you will have a half day tour of the iconic sugar loaf mountain, lasting approximately 4 hours then the afternoon is all yours to explore this incredible city some more. If you need help with getting around or aren't sure where to start, just let us know!

Day 3: Rio De Janeiro
This morning, you will have a half day tour of Corcovado to visit the spot where Christ the Redeemer watches over the city! The rest of the day is yours, before dinner at a barbecue restaurant followed by a show at the famous 'Plataforma' - a well know Brazilian music venue featuring live samba, jazz, bossa nova.

Day 4: Rio De Janeiro - Iguazu Falls
After breakfast, transfer to the international airport in Rio de Janeiro, for a short flight to Iguazu falls. You will check in to your hotel in Iguazu before embarking on an exhilarating half day tour of the Brazilian side of the falls. On everyone's bucket-list, these spectacular waterfalls are a force of nature!

Day 5: Iguazu Falls
Today you will explore the Argentinian side of the waterfalls, seeing this magnificent beast from all the best view spots!

Day 6: Iguazu Falls - Manaus - Amazon Village
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and transfer to the airport to take a flight to Manaus. On arrival in Manaus you will be met and taken to the Amazon Village, where you will have dinner in a luxury lodge and have the evening to embrace the beauty of the area and chat with the locals.

Day 7: Manaus - Amazon Village
All of today is very much up to your preference of what you wish to do and when whilst in this incredible place. Tours provided during the stay in the lodge include: sunrise and sunset in motorized canoe, reconnaissance tour, jungle trek, fishing, night tour in canoe to observe the crocodiles. A real once in a lifetime experience, some of these tours are only available to visitors to this lodge so make the most of this spectacular environment!

Day 8: Manaus - Salvador
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the Manaus airport to get on board on a flight to Salvador, where you have the rest of the day to enjoy the stunning colonial architecture and vibrant atmosphere before some local culinary treats for dinner!

Day 9: Salvador
Today starts with a half day historic tour around Salvador. Our informative guides know all there is to know about this city, this is an inspiring and incredibly informative way to see what Salvador has to offer. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore some more and soak in the energy of this exciting city. It is your last day in Brazil so make the most of the fantastic atmosphere and lively nightlife!

Day 10: Departure
This morning you will travel to the airport for your onward flight. Tchau!

    International Flights
    Getting to Brazil is straightforward from most areas of the world, but you may find that the choice is bewildering, or you’re not sure about the easiest route. Tango Tours are experienced in planning flights and we are very happy to advise you on the different choices available. Because prices tend to increase closer to your departure date, we advise that you buy your international flight tickets as soon as you have made a decision about your tour. As an ATOL bonded tour operator, we can assist in your purchase of international flights. In fact, your entire tour can be protected under our ATOL licence by booking your international flight with us. Please note that flight tickets are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.

    Internal Flights
    As with international flights, Tango Tours' friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to book your internal flights for you if required. For some itineraries, you need to arrive at a particular destination at a required time/date therefore, it is vital that you book the correct flights and times of arrival. Our ATOL licence will protect your whole tour if your internal flights are purchased through us. Please note that flights are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.

    To confirm your booking with Tango Tours, we require a payment of 20% of the ground-based arrangements and 100% of all flights. The remaining balance of your tour is then payable 10 weeks prior to departure. For any bookings made within these 10 weeks, the full amount is payable.
