OverviewYour Bolivian adventure starts in the exciting city of La Paz, where you will get a tour of some great sights including the famous markets and Moon Valley, all in the shadow of the snow-capped 'Illimani' mountains.
You then travel to Huatajata where you take a cruise on the world-famous Lake Titicaca, visiting the sun and moon islands and the amazing Urus Iruitos floating community!
A day full of relaxation is ahead, as you have a session at a natural spa with mud and salt baths.
Your next visit is to Coroico, a tropical jungle environment where you can enjoy fantastic scenery and an evening folk show with dinner.
Spend your last day enjoying the mystical which doctor markets and sampling some delicious local food before you flight home!
Day 1: Arrival - La Paz
Arrival in La Paz where you will be met and taken to your hotel.
Day 2: La Paz
Half day city tour of La Paz, visiting picturesque neighbourhoods, native markets and the magical witch doctors market all surrounded by the majestic snow-capped peaks of ‘Illimani’.
This afternoon you visit the famous ‘Moon Valley’, with its clay formations that are said to represent the moon’s face.
Day 3: La Paz - Huatajata
This morning you depart from the hotel for Huatajata for your hydrofoil cruise on Lake Titicaca. On this state-of-the-art excursion you will visit Copacabana, the ‘sun’ and ‘moon’ islands and the Urus Iruitos floating islands.
Stay in a luxury hotel this evening, with an opportunity to take part in a Kallawaya ‘Tata Benjo’ – which is said to heal the body and soul by casting coca leaves into a fire to predict the future!
Day 4: Huatajata - La Paz
A visit and relaxation session at a natural spa with mud and salt baths, massages and coca cream leaving you feel incredibly relaxed!
A relaxing lunch here, and then you will travel to La Paz for the evening, having a chance to sample some excellent local food and embrace the excitement of La Paz nightlife if you wish.
Day 5: La Paz - Coroico
After breakfast, departure to the Forests Mountain in the humid subtropical region of Los Yungas with spectacular scenery around you – coffee, coca leaves, citrus and banana plantations.
You will arrive in Coroico where you have the afternoon to explore the area a little, walking around the local village followed by dinner and a folk show in the evening with Afro-Bolivian music and dancing! It is a lot of fun and really immerses you in the traditional Bolivian culture.
Day 6: Coroico
You have the whole day to yourself to explore Coroico.
Day 7: La Paz
After breakfast you return the La Paz and have some time to go around the colourful local markets making the most of your last day in Bolivia!
Day 8: Departure
This morning, you will travel to the airport for your onward flight, time to say goodbye to Bolivia – but we know you’ll be back!

In fact, your entire tour can be protected under our ATOL licence by booking your international flight with us. Please note that flight tickets are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
As with international flights, Tango Tours' friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to book your internal flights for you if required. For some itineraries, you need to arrive at a particular destination at a required time/date therefore, it is vital that you book the correct flights and times of arrival. Our ATOL licence will protect your whole tour if your internal flights are purchased through us. Please note that flights are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
To confirm your booking with Tango Tours, we require a payment of 20% of the ground-based arrangements and 100% of all flights. The remaining balance of your tour is then payable 10 weeks prior to departure. For any bookings made within these 10 weeks, the full amount is payable.
