Enjoy the colourful capital Havana where you will get two half day city tours to see all the sights this magnificent city has to offer!
See beautiful Guamá, explore Cienfuegos and Trinidad (an UNESCO heritage site) is well worth a visit. From Trinidad continue on to Camaguey, stopping en route at Sancti Spiritus- Latin for ‘Holy Spirit'. All these places have their own charms and a taste of real, authentic Cuban culture.
Along the way you will see some beautiful areas such as the amazing Orchid Garden and Soroa waterfall- a spectacle well worth a visit! The famous Viñales Valley, Topes De Collantes National Park - situated in the Escambray Mountains range, is a paradise! You will get a full day tour to explore the natural wonders of this untouched utopia.
Day 1: Arrival - Havana
Arrive in the bustling, but at the same time laid-back, capital Havana where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for the evening.
Day 2: Havana
In the morning, you will be collected from your hotel for a guided walking tour of Old Havana, where you have the opportunity to see all the sights of this fascinating historical area including: Arms Square, Square of Francis of Assisi, Old Square and Cathedral Square. Walk among the atmospheric streets and beautiful colonial buildings.
Day 3: Havana
Explore more of Havana with a second half day tour enjoying the sights of the city you didn't see yesterday. This afternoon, why not enjoy a guided ‘Havana Vintage Car Tour’ to explore some of the best, iconic vehicles of Cuba? Or you can just relax and explore in your own time.
Day 4: Havana - Viñales
Today travel from Havana to the beautiful Viñales Valley. Stop at Soroa to visit the stunning Orchid Garden and Soroa waterfall. Continue on to Viñales where you will spend the night.
Day 5: Viñales - Cienfuegos
Set off from Viñales and drive through spectacular countryside onto Cienfuegos. You have the rest of the evening free to enjoy the area and sample some local cuisine.
Day 6: Cienfuegos - Trinidad
Take a short guided tour of Cienfuegos, where you will have the opportunity to see the sights of the city known as ‘The Pearl of the South’! After a local lunch, leave Cienfuegos behind and travel to the picturesque city of Trinidad.
Day 7: Trinidad - Topes De Collantes National Park
Embark on an adventure into Topes de Collantes – a nature reserve in the stunning Escambray Mountains. This excursion is something a little different and really good fun! You will set off in a all-terrain truck, first visiting a lookout point where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the city and the Caribbean Sea. Travel on to Casa del café - a tiny, traditional building home to a museum on the history of coffee in the area. Continue to Casa de la Gallega – a lovely restaurant in the trees and a great pit stop, to get here you go through tropical rain forests and coffee plantations. After lunch, begin the picturesque walking trail 'Centinelas Del Río Melodioso' accompanied by an expert on the Cuban Flora and Fauna. Along the walk you will have a chance to swim at the pond El Venado and the waterfall El Rocío. Head back to Trinidad after the tour for the evening.
Day 8: Trinidad - Camagüey
Explore Trinidad (declared an UNESCO heritage site) with a guided city tour; see all the sights of the city and absorb the relaxed atmosphere. After the tour, travel on to Camagüey. En route visit Valle de los Ingenios – “Sugar Mills Valley” (around half an hour from Trinidad) for some lovely views and also the city of Sancti Spiritus – ‘Holy spirit’. On arrival into Camagüey enjoy a special ‘Welcome to Camaguey’ tour: ride between medieval churches and plazas in Bicitaxis (like rickshaws), then take a walk around the five foundation squares of the old village, where the architecture really stand outs. This is one of the reasons why the centre of Camagüey was declared World Heritage. Next, stroll along the atmospheric 'Street of Cinemas'before dinner at a local restaurant followed by a night of traditional Cuban music!
Day 9: Camagüey - Havana
Today, enjoy a private morning walking tour of Camagüey stopping for a local lunch en route. You will get a chance to see some more of the city and learn all about the area. This afternoon, drive to Camagüey Airport for your short internal flight to Havana.
Day 10: Havana
In Havana, take a guided visit to the world famous Revolution’s Museum. You then have the afternoon and evening free to enjoy your final day in Cuba!
Day 11: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Getting to Cuba is straightforward from most areas of the world, but you may find that the choice is bewildering, or you’re not sure about the easiest route. Tango Tours are experienced in planning flights and we are very happy to advise you on the different choices available. Because prices tend to increase closer to your departure date, we advise that you buy your international flight tickets as soon as you have made a decision about your tour. As an ATOL bonded tour operator, we can assist in your purchase of international flights. In fact, your entire tour can be protected under our ATOL licence by booking your international flight with us. Please note that flight tickets are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
As with international flights, Tango Tours' friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to book your internal flights for you if required. For some itineraries, you need to arrive at a particular destination at a required time/date therefore, it is vital that you book the correct flights and times of arrival. Our ATOL licence will protect your whole tour if your internal flights are purchased through us. Please note that flights are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
To confirm your booking with Tango Tours, we require a payment of 20% of the ground-based arrangements and 100% of all flights. The remaining balance of your tour is then payable 10 weeks prior to departure. For any bookings made within these 10 weeks, the full amount is payable.
