Day 1: Arrival - Havana
On arrival in Havana, you will transfer to a hotel in the Historic Centre for the night.

Day 2: Havana - Viñales
Today you will be collected from your hotel in Havana and head to the beautiful Viñales Valley. Take a walk through the Valley to visit the House of Veguero, where you can sample a welcome cocktail and look out over the tobacco plantations grown here. Visit Mirador Los Jazmines for beautiful views over the Viñales Valley before a visit to the ‘Indian Cave’ with a boat ride included on the river that runs inside the cave itself. Enjoy a Cuban lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Mural of Prehistory which shows the process of evolution of life in the Sierra de los Órganos.

Day 3: Havana - Cienfuegos
Depart to Montemar Park - the largest wetland in the Caribbean. Visit the Crocodile Farm and Aldea Taina – a reconstructed traditional village! Travel on to Cienfuegos, where you will have a sightseeing tour of the city before dinner.

Day 4: Cienfuegos - Trinidad
This morning you will travel to Trinidad and embark on a panoramic city tour seeing all the sights of this stunning UNESCO declared city. You have the afternoon free to enjoy it in your own time - why not sample some local cuisine while you are here?

Day 5: Trinidad - Camagüey
Today, visit the Manaca-Iznaga Tower for a spectacular view over the Valle de los Ingenios (Valley of the Sugar Mills). Depart for Camagüey, on the way passing through the city of Sancti Spiritus – ‘The Holy Spirit’. Arrive in Camagüey for an atmospheric city tour before being taken to your hotel for the evening.

Day 6: Camagüey - Santiago de Cuba
After breakfast, depart to Santiago de Cuba. You then have the whole day to explore, relax and enjoy the sights of this beautiful city famous for its Afro-Caribbean charm that an be seen through its food, music and friendly people!

Day 7: Santiago de Cuba
Kick off the day with a visit the Santiago de Cuba Antique Car Museum, followed by an excellent city tour. Santiago de Cuba is steeped in endless culture, history and music. In the afternoon, visit the Moncada Barracks, Céspedes Park, The Piracy Museum, Santa Ifigenia Cemetery and Casa de Diego Velazquez.

Day 8: Santiago de Cuba - Baracoa
After breakfast, depart to Baracoa through the extraordinary La Farola Viaduct, on the way you will see the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea and rural life in this region. On arrival have lunch then enjoy a boat ride along the Toa River, the largest river in Cuba.

Day 9: Baracoa - Holguín
Travel to Holguín on the north coast. En route visit Cayo Saetía - the largest game reserve in the country! Embark on a safari jeep ride between forests and meadows where you can see animals found in complete freedom - zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, bulls, wild horses, wild pigs, camels, giraffes and ostriches! Have a local lunch at a beach shack followed by some free time to swim and relax at the beach. Continue on to Holguín where you will stay for the night.

Day 10: Holguín
Today, embark on a tour of Holguín to all the sites of this lovely city. You then have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy. In the evening, visit La Loma de la Cruz for a beautiful view over the city at night then enjoy dinner, Mojitos and traditional Cuban music all night long!

Day 11: Holguín - Emerald Beach
Travel to Playa Esmeralda. On the way, visit the Park Cayo Bariay National Monument and have lunch at a nearby restaurant in Bariay Colombo. Continue on to Playa Esmeralda where you have the rest of the afternoon to relax on one of the best beaches in Cuba!

Day 12: Emerald Beach - Playa Esmeralda
This morning, take a journey to Bahia de Naranjo to visit the Dolphinarium. Today's excursion includes a round-trip sea transfer, open bar, swimming with dolphins and a marine show! You then have the rest of the day to enjoy the beach.

Day 13: Playa Esmeralda
You have the whole day to chill out and enjoy the facilities of an all-inclusive resort with your loved one! There are some optional activities here such as a selection of different water sports, or you can just sit back and enjoy a Mojito or two!

Day 14: Playa Esmeralda - Havana
Today you have the morning free then travel back to Havana. You then have the rest of the day free to make the most of your final day in Cuba - and what better place to do it than colourful Havana!

Day 15: Havana - Departure
Enjoy a morning city tour of the sights of Havana before transferring to the airport for your onward flight.

    International Flights
    Getting to Cuba is straightforward from most areas of the world, but you may find that the choice is bewildering, or you’re not sure about the easiest route. Tango Tours are experienced in planning flights and we are very happy to advise you on the different choices available. Because prices tend to increase closer to your departure date, we advise that you buy your international flight tickets as soon as you have made a decision about your tour. As an ATOL bonded tour operator, we can assist in your purchase of international flights. In fact, your entire tour can be protected under our ATOL licence by booking your international flight with us. Please note that flight tickets are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.

    Internal Flights
    As with international flights, Tango Tours' friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to book your internal flights for you if required. For some itineraries, you need to arrive at a particular destination at a required time/date therefore, it is vital that you book the correct flights and times of arrival. Our ATOL licence will protect your whole tour if your internal flights are purchased through us. Please note that flights are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.

    To confirm your booking with Tango Tours, we require a payment of 20% of the ground-based arrangements and 100% of all flights. The remaining balance of your tour is then payable 10 weeks prior to departure. For any bookings made within these 10 weeks, the full amount is payable.
