Begin your adventure with a city tour of the atmospheric city of Santiago where you can see some iconic sites, important monuments and some hidden gems too! Your journey then takes you South to the stunning Torres del Paine National Park.
Your first day really throws you into the incredible surroundings of this stunning park and give you an idea of what is to come - the trek to 'Base Torres' showcases incredible lake and mountain views that are truly spectacular!
With your guide, make your way along the various parts of the trail stopping at the best possible view points for a well-deserved rest and to stand in awe of this unbelievable landscape!

Day 1: Arrival - Santiago
On arrival, you will be met and taken to your hotel. After some time to freshen up, take a relaxing half day guided city tour of Santiago seeing some amazing sites, landmarks and hidden gems!
Day 2: Santiago - Punta Arenas - Punta Natales - Torres del Paine
Transfer to the airport for a short internal flight to Punta Arenas. From here transfer to Punta Natales and take a shuttle into the National Park itself. Stay in a lodge tonight and meet your guide for the trek.
Day 3: Trekking to 'Base Torres'
The first hour and a half walking is steep with fantastic views of lake Nordenskjöld and Almirante Nieto Mn, with its hanging glacier until you reach Refugio El Chileno. Then carrying just a small back pack, you will continue the trail through a millenary Lenga forest (1 hour) until the base of “the moraine” which challenging ascent (45min), will take you to one of the most impressive places in the park: the lookout of the “Base of Torres del Paine” where you will enjoy the view of Torre Sur (2,850 m.s.n.m.), Torre Central (2.800 m.s.n.m), Torre Norte (2.600 m.s.n.m) and Cerro Nido de Cóndor.
Day 4: Trekking in Torres del Paine
Today's trail goes through the Base of Almirante Nieto Mn, part of the Paine Massif, with great views to Nordenskjöld Lake. From December the flora presents different colours specially the “Ciruelillo” or “Fire Bush” which takes its name from the red colour of its flowers. After about 4 – 5 hours you will get to the Base of Los Cuernos where Cabins Los Cuernos are located, considered by many, one of the most charming sites in the whole park, a perfect spot to rest and recover for the next day!
Day 5: Trekking to French Valley
For the first 2 hours today, there are some ascents, descents and views to Nordenskjöld Lake, until “Campamento Italiano”. The ascent goes for about 1.5 hours until French Glacier lookout, where you’ll be able to observe its incredible hanging glacier and small avalanches. After that, the trail continues until “Británico area” and after about 20 minutes you will reach the lookout point considered by many as one of the most overwhelming spots in the Circuit: “Mirador Británico”, where you will admire: “Paine Grande”, “Cerro Hoja”, “Cerro Máscara”, “Cerro Catedral”, “Cerro Aleta de Tiburón”, “Cuerno Norte”, etc.
Day 6: Trekking to Grey Glacier - Puerto Natales
The trail today goes through the western side of the Paine Massif with views to Grey Lake and Mountains. You will reach the first lookout point, where you may observe Grey Glacier in the distance, then and after 1 hour and a half / two hours you will get to the incredible Main lookout, in front of the glacier. The return is the same way back until Pehoé Lake to take the Catamaran that crosses the Lake to Pudeto sector, where your bus will be waiting for you to take you back to Puerto Natales and to your hotel.
Day 7: Departure
Take a private transfer to Punta Arenas Airport for your flight to Santiago and your onward travel.

Please note that flight tickets are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
As with international flights, Tango Tours' friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to book your internal flights for you if required. For some itineraries, you need to arrive at a particular destination at a required time/date therefore, it is vital that you book the correct flights and times of arrival. Our ATOL licence will protect your whole tour if your internal flights are purchased through us. Please note that flights are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
To confirm your booking with Tango Tours, we require a payment of 20% of the ground-based arrangements and 100% of all flights. The remaining balance of your tour is then payable 10 weeks prior to departure. For any bookings made within these 10 weeks, the full amount is payable.
