OverviewYour Cuban experience begins on the beautiful Zapata Peninsula visiting a ecological wonderland where you have the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the area. Stay at the pretty coastal village of Giron tonight and enjoy the picturesque surroundings.
In the morning embark on a jam-packed day of Cuban delights! You will visit beautiful Cienfuegos, the stunning and fascinating UNESCO city of Trinidad and Santa Clara - known for its revolutionary past.
You then have the opportunity to enjoy the pristine beaches and shimmering, crystal-clear waters of Cayo Las Brugas as well as a tour of Santa Clara's most important and fascinating landmarks, before heading back to Havana or Varadero.
Day 1: Havana – Guamá - Playa Giron
Located on the Zapata Peninsula, the intriguing area of Guamá is home to an abundance of natural wonders. Explore the area visiting many areas of interest including the fascinating Crocodile Hatchery. Enjoy lunch in a local restaurant before continuing your journey to the stunning coastal village of Giron. Dinner this evening will be at a local hotel.
Day 2: Playa Giron – Cienfuegos – Trinidad - Santa Clara
Today, enjoy a whistle stop tour of two of Cuba’s most impressive cities! First you will visit the City of Cienfuegos known as the ‘Pearl of the South’! Explore its beautiful streets and avenues founded by the French, and stop at many architectural delights. Continue your trip to Trinidad where you begin with lunch in a local restaurant. Declared an UNESCO heritage site, Trinidad is a stunning colonial city that has a lot to offer! Visit the Plaza Mayor, the Romantic Museum, The Church of the Holy Trinity and Bar la Canchánchara for a typical welcome cocktail and finally a ceramic workshop. You then have some free time to explore this magnificent city for yourself. Later this afternoon, continue to your hotel in Santa Clara for dinner.
Day 3: Santa Clara - Cayo Las Brugas - Santa Clara
With 11 km of pristine beaches and shimmering, crystal-clear waters - Cayo Las Brujas is paradise! En route enjoy beautiful views of the city of Remedios. You then have the whole day to enjoy the spectacular beach including a special ‘Sailor's lunch’. After a day of relaxation, head back to your hotel in Santa Clara for dinner.
Day 4: Santa Clara – Havana / Varadero
Santa Clara - a beautiful city famous for its important revolutionary landmarks and the final resting place of Che Guevara. Enjoy a city tour visiting Park of Carmen and Leoncio Vidal Park, Ernesto Che Guevara Square where the famous ‘Mausoleum of Che’ is located and the Armored Train monument. After lunch in Santa Clara, continue to Varadero or Havana.

Getting to Cuba is straightforward from most areas of the world, but you may find that the choice is bewildering, or you’re not sure about the easiest route. Tango Tours are experienced in planning flights and we are very happy to advise you on the different choices available. Because prices tend to increase closer to your departure date, we advise that you buy your international flight tickets as soon as you have made a decision about your trip. As an ATOL bonded tour operator, we can assist in your purchase of international flights. In fact, your entire tour can be protected under our ATOL licence by booking your international flight with us. Please note that 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation and is non-refundable.
As with international flights, Tango Tours' friendly and knowledgeable staff are on hand to book your internal flights. Our ATOL licence will protect your whole tour if your internal flights are purchased through us. Please note that flights are non-refundable and 100% of your flight ticket price is payable on tour confirmation.
To confirm your booking with Tango Tours, we require a payment of 20% of the ground-based arrangements and 100% of all flights booked with us. The remaining balance of your tour is then payable 10 weeks prior to departure. For any bookings made within these 10 weeks, the full amount is payable.
